It is a copper-coated gas metal arc welding wire used especially in semi-automatic and fully automatic welding applications on unalloyed steels. It is manufactured as 0.80 mm – 1.00 mm and 1.20 mm.
It is used in steel construction and machinery construction, metal goods manufacturing, ship, boiler, tank and pipe welding, welding of fine grained steels, thin sheet steel, steel furniture and automotive industry.
Pure Ar is used as shielding gas in TIG welding, and C02 / Ar+ CO2 mixed gases are used in MAG welding. It can be used up to operating temperatures up to 350°C-400°C.
